A Thousand Years of Kiln Fire Forges the Easts Peerless Beauty
During the National Day holiday, the Zibo Ceramic and Liuli National Art Museum attracted a large number of visitors, who posed for photos in front of the delicate, translucent Liuli artworks.
Zibo Liuli is an art of light and fire. Lampworking is one of its most representative techniques. Artisans use a 1,400°C high-temperature flame as a brush and Liuli glass rods as ink, swiftly completing kneading, shaping, and trimming while the material is in a molten state. In these works, every petal and every leaf takes form in an instant within the blazing fire — each one entirely unique.
